Do I need a referral for therapy?

Yes, We can assist with obtaining a referral for OT services. If you are not sure how to get started, give us a call and we can help.

Do you take my insurance?

G3O Therapy contracts with Medicare, BCBS, workers compensation, auto and shared managed plans.
We will be happy to assist in contacting your insurance company and determining your coverage based on your individual policy. In order to provide the absolute best care for our patients, including hour long one-on-one sessions, we do not directly accept all insurance plans. We have found this allows us to treat you with the most optimal care. This also allows us to choose the best treatments for you, not just the ones insurance covers.

What if I have out-of-network benefits through my insurance?

We are able to provide you with superbills that you would submit to your insurance company to get reimbursed for your OT treatments if your plan covers out-of-network services. On some cases, we may be able to submit billing for you.

What should I expect the first visit?

Prior to your visit, you will be able to complete an injury and medical history which will be reviewed by your therapist. Your first appointment will include a thorough evaluation and initiate of treatment including a home exercise program and collaboration for further visits and plan of care.

What is a Good Faith Estimate (GFE)?

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” (GFE) explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
